Our Story

Family owned and operated since November 1988. Three generations of handmade Italian food, served with pride from the same stone building on U.S. 27 in Armuchee, Georgia.

Where It All Started

The Beginning

In November 1988, Kim and Jim Durall bought into the Pasquale's franchise, taking over the distinctive red-framed stone building that had opened along Martha Berry Highway the year before. The location was already a landmark on U.S. 27, and the Duralls saw the chance to turn it into something truly their own.

The franchise was originally connected to Labatt Brewing Company, and like many franchise systems of that era, it went through a series of ownership changes that left individual operators largely on their own. For Kim and Jim, that turned out to be a blessing.

The Evolution

By the early 1990s, the parent franchise company had become defunct after cycling through multiple corporate owners. Rather than close their doors, the Duralls did what they had always done best: they kept cooking. Free from franchise restrictions, they leaned into what made their food special and built the menu, the recipes, and the reputation entirely on their own terms.

Today, Pasquale's in Armuchee is the last independently operating location in Georgia. What started as a franchise outpost became a truly independent, family-run restaurant with recipes and techniques refined over decades.

Chuck Bailey first walked through the door in May of 1988 as a student at nearby Shorter University, looking for a part-time job. He never left. What began as college work turned into a lifelong career, and over the years Chuck grew from employee to co-owner, becoming a core part of the Pasquale's family. His dedication to the restaurant spans more than 35 years.

Handmade Every Day

Our Commitment

There are no shortcuts in this kitchen. Everything is made from scratch, every single day, the same way it has been for over 35 years.

3x

Fresh Dough Daily

Our pizza dough is made from scratch three times every day. No frozen dough, no pre-made crusts. Every pie starts with flour, water, yeast, and hands that know exactly what they're doing.

130+

Years of Experience

Our core staff brings over 130 combined years of pizza-making experience to the table. Some team members have been with us for more than 15 years, and children of former employees now work alongside their parents' old colleagues.

100%

House-Made

Our sauces are simmered in-house. Our salad dressings are mixed by hand. Our cheese is grated right here on-site. Even our wings are fresh and never frozen. If we can make it ourselves, we do.

In Loving Memory

Remembering Kim Durall

Kim Durall co-founded this restaurant alongside her husband Jim in 1988 and poured her heart into it for over three decades. She was the backbone of Pasquale's, helping shape everything from the recipes to the warm atmosphere that customers have always loved about this place.

Kim passed away in November 2022, but her spirit lives on in every dish that leaves this kitchen. The standards she set, the care she brought, and the community she built continue to guide this restaurant every day.

Pasquale's Today

Today, Pasquale's is run by Cody Durall, Jim's son, alongside longtime co-owner Chuck Bailey. Together they carry forward the Durall family legacy while continuing to serve the Armuchee community and the greater Floyd County area with the same quality and care that Kim and Jim brought to the table from day one.

Long before food delivery apps became a part of everyday life, Pasquale's was already out on the road, bringing hot pizzas to doorsteps throughout the foothills of Floyd County. Delivery has always been central to what we do, and that has not changed.

Whether you pull up to the drive-thru, walk into the dining room, call in an order, or visit us online, you are getting the same handmade food from the same kitchen that has been serving this community for well over three decades.
